Many of the RD crew members, especially our founder/head-brewer Dan, are big fans of Zombie movies. When our friends over at Alamo Drafthouse told us they were doing a showing of Dead Alive for it's 25th Anniversary, we knew we had to get involved.

And when they said it would be on Halloween, our brains nearly exploded out of our heads.

Come join the Rushing Duck crew as we celebrate Halloween in style. We'll be bringing some tasty beer to the Alamo all month in celebration, including something especially ghoulish for the event itself. 

If you are unfamiliar with Dead Alive, it's a gem of a zombie movie directed by Peter Jackson well before his Lord of the Rings days. An over-the-top schlock-fest with blood and guts galore, this dark comedy/horror is non-stop, cringe-worthy fun with some fantastic one-liners. It culminates in a genre-famous scene involving a lawnmower.
